# Overview
**EarnTube** is a **character-leveling gaming app** that integrates with **YouTube**. We bring WEB3 to online viewing by compensating viewers for their attention and input with inbuilt Game-Fi and Social-Fi elements. EarnTube is built around an usual video watching activity for most users on Youtube. What makes our project unique and valuable is that we aim to effectively transform the Web2 viewers' viewing experience into a productive activity.
Users can participate in various EarnTube activities by installing EarnTube application while watching YouTube. Users can perform specific missions while watching the video. In addition, through collective intelligence, users can contribute to activities that enrich each other's viewing experience and receive rewards. Users can equip themselves with NFTs in the form of television characters to boost their rewards or to claim special functional ownership of the platform.
Note: EarnTube is currently under Early Beta Phase, so contents in the Whitepaper could be changed in the future.
